The Pioneer DJ VM-80 is a powerful 8-inch active monitor speaker designed for DJs, producers, home studios, and professional production environments. At the heart of the VM-80 is a Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP, delivering wide-bandwidth audio reproduction with efficient performance and low distortion. The speaker provides 90W of power to the low-frequency driver and 30W to the high-frequency driver, for a total bi-amplified output of 120 watts.

Aramid Fiber Woofer & Vortex Bass Accelerator

The VM-80 features an 8-inch aramid fiber woofer cone designed to produce powerful, responsive bass and low-mid frequencies. Pioneer DJ’s Vortex Bass Accelerator uses specially shaped ribs inside the bass reflex port to help airflow move smoothly through the cabinet, reducing unwanted vibration and delivering tighter, cleaner low-end response.

Constant Directivity Horn

A specially designed constant directivity horn helps deliver clear and powerful mid- and high-frequency reproduction across a broad, uniform listening area. The shape of the horn and woofer edge are engineered to create a smooth transition between frequencies for a more natural listening experience.

16 DSP EQ Settings

The VM-80 can be tuned to suit different rooms and listening environments using the rear-panel Low EQ and High EQ controls. Each control offers four selectable positions, providing 16 possible EQ combinations.

The Low EQ settings allow you to reduce bass when the speaker is placed near a wall, maintain a flat response for production, add extra low-end punch, or create a stronger club-style bass response. High EQ settings let you reduce harsh highs in reflective spaces, maintain a flat response, add brightness, or emphasize upper-frequency detail.

Rigid Aluminum Front Baffle

A 4 mm-thick rigid aluminum front baffle helps suppress cabinet resonance and unwanted vibration, while the hexagonal design and protective tweeter guard add durability. The Alumite-treated brushed finish gives the VM-80 a clean, professional appearance that matches naturally with Pioneer DJ equipment.
