The Pioneer DJ VM-70 is a powerful 6.5-inch active monitor speaker designed for DJs, producers, home studios, and professional production environments. Built to deliver clear, low-distortion audio with fast-attacking, punchy bass, the VM-70 can be tuned for either a club-style sound or a flatter response for music production.

At the heart of the VM-70 is a Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP, providing wide-bandwidth reproduction with efficient performance and low distortion. The speaker delivers 70W to the low-frequency driver and 30W to the high-frequency driver, giving it a total bi-amplified output of 100 watts.

Aramid Fiber Woofer & Vortex Bass Accelerator

The VM-70 features a 6.5-inch aramid fiber woofer cone engineered for strong, responsive bass and low-mid reproduction. Pioneer DJ’s Vortex Bass Accelerator uses specially designed ribs inside the bass reflex port to help airflow move smoothly through the cabinet, reducing unwanted vibration and producing tighter low-end response.

Constant Directivity Horn

A specially shaped constant directivity horn helps deliver clear mid and high frequencies across a broad, uniform listening area. The horn and woofer edge are designed to provide a smooth transition between frequencies for natural, balanced playback.

16 DSP EQ Settings

The VM-70 can be tuned to match your room, setup, and listening preference using rear-panel Low EQ and High EQ controls. Each control offers four positions, creating 16 possible EQ combinations.

Low-frequency options include settings for reducing bass near walls, flat studio monitoring, adding extra low-end punch, or producing a more club-style bass response. High-frequency settings allow you to compensate for reflective rooms, maintain flat reproduction, add brightness, or enhance upper-frequency detail.

Rigid Aluminum Front Baffle

A 4 mm-thick rigid aluminum front baffle helps suppress unwanted resonance and cabinet vibration. The hexagonal baffle design also includes a protective tweeter guard and an Alumite-treated brushed finish for durability and a professional look that pairs naturally with Pioneer DJ equipment.
