Pioneer recently announced the release of a fresh, all white version of their flagship standalone DJ controller. The new units are functionally identical to the original XDJ-XZ and will retail for $2499.00. A simple color swap might not seem like a big deal for some, but an all white console offers a decent amount of appeal to some DJs, especially those for whom weddings are their bread & butter. More and more wedding planners are opting for a white color option for anything and everything where it's available, so you can be sure that if they have a choice between two wedding DJs who are equally qualified, and equally priced, but one has all white equipment,  you can almost guarantee that's who gets the gig. This also may signal that customers who recently purchased an XZ probably don't have to worry about Pioneer dropping the next generation XZ system any time soon, but we're always curious what they'll have in store for next quarter!

Speaking of, Pioneer has also hinted at a new product drop for Tuesday, 5/31, so keep an eye out for more info on that! What do you think the new product will be? A brand new Rekordbox controller? A small format standalone unit like Denon's Prime Go? Drop a comment if you have any guesses!
