Nagaoka DJ-44G Replacement Stylus for M44G and M77-7 DJ Cartridges

The Nagaoka DJ-44G is a replacement stylus for the Shure M44G, a widely used but discontinued cartridge that many DJs swear by and still use today. However, those who own an original M44G are left with whatever aftermarket stylii are available when it comes time to replace theirs, and the quality of many of the options out there can be dubious at best. Fortunately, Nagaoka, an experienced and highly regarded Japanese manufacturer of replacement needles, responded to the need for a suitable replacement that actually lives up to the standards set by the original Shure model with their own version.

After the previous Nagaoka replacement stylus, GD63-44G, was discontinued, the specifications were reviewed and an updated version was developed. The DJ-44G achieves more powerful sound pressure, a delicate wide tracking range, and a strong, detailed sound without compromising the toughness that was one of the most prized features of the original 44G.
